Elevator Pitch No. 2

Elevator Pitch No. 2

  1. Elevator Pitch:
  2. Reflection of feedback from previous elevator pitch:
    • It was very helpful to read some of the comments that my group members left on my previous elevator pitch.  One of the things that I wanted to repeat was dressing up for the elevator pitch.  I was always told by my parents to dress to impress, so that would be my goal if I were to give this elevator pitch in real life.  I really appreciated hearing the constructive criticism that my group had to offer as well.  I made sure to implement necessary changes in my second elevator pitch.
  3. What I changed based on this feedback:
    • One thing that I change based on the feedback was that I tried to avoid repeating myself or any thoughts that I might have mentioned earlier in the pitch.  This would me to get my message across without boring my audience.
    • Another thing that I focused on was putting more time into my preparation in order to limit my stumbles and mistakes during the pitch.  I noticed this would also help eliminate me from saying "um" very often.

  1. Hey, Sean! I think you really improved your elevator pitch the second time around. You presented yourself very professionally and showed the audience how engaged you are in the product you're selling. I also found it helpful to practice the pitch before recording, because I would always mess something up. Your pitch sounded smooth and persuasive!

  2. Hi Sean,
Like Kristen said, I also thought you made great improvements with your elevator pitch. Not only did you present yourself professionally with the blazer and pin, but you also did a great job of displaying your emotions to show how much you care about the product at hand. Sometimes it seemed that you got caught up a little bit with the words you were trying to say and think that you can easily improve this if you just take a little pause between each sentence your saying so that things are clear.
