Elevator Pitch No. 3

Elevator Pitch No. 3

  1. Elevator Pitch:
  2. Reflection of feedback from previous elevator pitch:
    • Again, it was extremely beneficial to read the comments that my group members left on my previous two elevator pitches.  One of the things that I wanted to repeat was dressing up for the elevator pitch.  I was always told by my parents to dress to impress, so that would be my goal if I were to give this elevator pitch in real life.  It is always nice to hear what your peers have to say, whether it is positive or negative.
  3. What I changed based on this feedback:
    • One thing that I continued to try based on the old feedback was that I tried to avoid repeating myself or any thoughts that I might have mentioned earlier in the pitch.  This would allow me to get my message across without boring my audience.
    • I did not receive much constructive criticism on my second pitch, so for this one I really focused on showing the same amount of emotion.  When an audience detects emotion in your speech, they know it is something you care about, and it can persuade them to buy into the product more.

  1. Hi Sean,
First off, I would like to start by saying that you have made tremendous improvements in many areas of your elevator pitch. Not only did you do a good job of using feedback, but you also made yourself look more presentable by using comfortable hand motions and overall looking much more relaxed. I think you also did a better job of not repeating yourself, but rather just going with what you have to say because this helped the flow of the presentation. Altogether, it was very pleasing to see how much improvement has been made since your first elevator pitch and I think that this just goes to show that practicing and doing multiple presentations can be very beneficial.

  2. Hey, Sean! Over the course of the elevator pitches, it's clear you've improved your pitch every time. In this specific one, I like how you speak casually (not too formal) because it makes the audience feel like we're talking to a friend. The suit you wore definitely helps convince who you're talking to that you mean business and you're dressed to impress. The only thing I'd critique this time would be to not fidget with your jacket so much!
